Morus Magus

Theme: One Input, Many Effects
The dungeon walls tremble as countless monstrosities close in around you. But you are no ordinary mage... you are a master of the arcane, wielder of raw magic, you are the Morus Magus.
In this fast-paced spell-crafting game, you must stop the monsters before they reach you. Monsters spawn from the right and will charge down one of four lanes towards you.
Each lane has a protective Totem that will stop them for some time, but once a totem falls they will come for you directly. Don't worry, one totem will be restored every four levels to help you hold the line
Casting Spells
To unleash your magic, you need to string together 2-4 Runes.
Use the spacebar or LMB to tap out each Rune's code, which consists of dots < . > and dashes < - >
Hold the button for more than 0.3 seconds for a dash, anything less will be a dot. After 0.75 seconds of no input, a rune will be selected.
First Rune - Element
Every spell begins with an element. Fire, Ice, or Lightning
Second Rune - Shape (Optional)
Determines the form of a spell - Ball, Beam, or Wall
- Ball - explode on impact, damaging nearby enemies
- Beam - pierces through enemies, hitting all monsters in a lane
- Wall - creates a damaging barrier at one of the four pillars
If you do not select a Shape Rune, it will default to a basic Bolt, which damages the first enemy it hits.
Third Rune - Infusion (Optional)
Infuse your spell with additional effects - Power, Time, or Area
- Power - doubles your spell's damage
- Time - extends duration of a Wall, or applies a Burn/Slow/Stun effect based on the Element
- Area - expands radius of Ball spells, or creates another Wall/Beam
Final Rune - Lane
Choose the lane to target. Once selected, the spell will cast immediately, and you'll be ready to start crafting your next spell.
